Miss A. Singer, Dancer, Songwriter, Choreographer, Model.
MissA is a young singer / dancer / songwriter who's talent knows no limits. A true blue Aussie girl from Down Under who mesmorises those who see her, and captivates those who hear her. "I love what I was born to do," she says. "I want everyone to feel the love!"
And feel the love they have! With already a hugely successful independent dance release, Sexy U R reaching number 8 on the Australian SANITY music charts, and hitting the number 1 spot on the Hot 30 in The Netherlands, this Aussie model likes nothing better than to step off the runway and onto the stage or into the studio.
Miss A writes and co-produces all of her own songs and is truly dedicated and devoted. "I sing my own words, it's all me." A well blended mix of pop, electronic, dance and R&B, MissA is the future of music. "As a dancer, it's important to me to create a sound I can hit the floor with and really dance, feel the beat in my heart and the melody in my soul."
A trained dancer, cutting edge choreographer, a true singer, a real songwriter, a striking performer. Nominated for Australia's Young Choreographer of the Year as a teenager, MissA needs to dance her own moves as well as sing her own words. The two together have been described as "cutting edge visual poetry." "I want to create escapism for people, that is what music is, it has the power to make you feel good, even at your worst moment."
Winning comp after comp as a child, MissA set her sights high at a young age. Scouted by the Royal Academy of Dance before she was 3yrs of age, the stage always felt like home. Writing her first song at the age of 7, MissA was blessed with the gift of music and dance. "I can't tell you how much I loved Michael Jackson growing up, here I was this little ballerina busting out the moonwalk and ripping the ballet bun out of my hair every chance I got." Born in Australia to a supermodel Mother and a Ballroom Jive champion, she got the looks and the moves, so it was no surprise that with those genes, she hit the modelling scene at a young age, being spotted shopping with her Mother. "The modelling is fun, but for me, it's all about the music."
MissA kept at it, school girl by day, singing, dancing and songwriting by night, readily sought after for gig after gig with her pure voice, incredible dance ability and undeniable stage presence.
Still in her teens, Miss A started up her own talent studios specialising in Street, RnB, Hip Hop, Pop, Dance and Techno, and her studio quickly grew into the place to study dance, and the indusrty stood up and took note of what MissA was achieving in the dance world. "We won everything, it was a great time and we had the best fun." The MissA dance moves are a stand out, raw, edgey, entertaining and hot. "The MissA choreography is always a delight, you pick it a mile away, the girl has magic running through her body."
The world of music MissA has been in since she was a child has taken over, and she could not be happier about that. "I want my time on Earth to count. I want to leave my mark in this world, create music that touches and changes people's lives, I can't wait to see what the next minute brings, let alone the next day!" MissA devotes her time to the Miss A sound, the MissA vibe, and to her growing MissA fan base around the world.
Embrace her and never let go, and she will do the same in return.
"Friends and fans are family."
Welcome to the MissA family.

Making music and radio history
"...In what is believed to be a first for the north-west, rising pop/dance artist Miss A will launch her debut album, Flirtatious, in Tamworth tonight at an exclusive and intimate party. The FM 92.9 Live Listener Party, in conjunction with Sanity, is giving music buffs the opportunity to see the popular new artist perform live, here in Tamworth, without having to travel to Sydney, where most musicians and singers launch their careers.
Miss A will be performing a number of tracks off her debut album at a special gig in the Family Hotel's Dom's function room from 6:30pm, with party-goers having the chance to score some cool prizes including signed Miss A posters, albums and singles. FM 92.9 morning radio announcer Stephen Walter said it is a first for this area as the majority of rising musicians choose to launch their career in the larger cities.
"We've had a lot of feedback from playing her new single, Sexy UR, (Sexy You Are) and hope this launch will show others the opportunities that come from launching their music here in the north-west." Stephen said. For those who can't make the launch party, Miss A will be performing Sexy UR at Sanity in Shoppingworld at 12:30pm today, where she will also be signing posters, albums singles. Daniel Owers, from Voicechoice Artist Management, said the opportunity to get an Australian artist to launch their music here in the northwest sets a precedent for the music industry."An opportunity like this one is very rare," Daniel said.
"We are making music and radio history with the launch."
